AbsolutePunk.net reviews ‘Cinematics’

“On their sophomore full-length Cinematics, the band makes a case that they may be the band to watch in 2013… Quite honestly, it doesn’t get much better than this.” -Gregory Robson, AbsolutePunk.net

All this week, AOL Spinner will be offering a free stream of the entire album , so please go check it out there and if you like what you hear, head over to iTunes, and get yourself a copy for just $9.99. There are also hard copies available through this site, and also Amazon.com. We can’t thank you guys enough for all the support you’ve given us over the years. It helped us survive some dark days during the writing of this album, and we are forever grateful for that. Also, for those in Denver, be sure to tune into 93.3 KTCL and listen for our first single, “Paradigm Shift.” GO BRONCOS!!!

TV on the Internet

Today, we are happy to report that our music video for “The Fallout” has been accepted by both MTV.com and VH1.com. It would mean a great deal to us if you would take time to go check it out at either site (or both :)  ) by clicking on the links below. We also encourage you to share these with as many people as you would like, because if we’re able to generate enough traffic to these sites, we could make a case for television placement. If that happens, we’re buying everyone steaks.

As always, we can’t thank you all enough. You’re support is the only reason that we’re able to pursue our dreams.

Coming Out of Hibernation

It’s been a while since we’ve posted anything, so we have a few things to post on. First and foremost, we are extremely happy to say that we have teamed up with Illegal Pete’s/The Greater Than Collective for the release of our upcoming album. The album, entitled “Cinematics,” is very close to being completed, and we are looking at a tentative release of early October (stay tuned for an official release date in the very near future).

Now on that note, we are honored to say that we are the current featured band of the “Pete’s Pints” series. We’ll be playing shows at three different Illegal Pete’s locations and promoting the sale of our three limited edition pint glasses, with a different one available each night. We’re going to change it up a bit on these particular shows though.

- For starters, our set on Thursday, 7/26 (at the University of Denver location), we will be playing our first album, “The Beautiful, the Terrifying” in its entirety. This will be our first time playing most of these songs in a few years (and could be the last, depending on how well we’re able to remember everything). In addition, we’ll also be playing with Abandin Pictures, one of Denver’s great up-and-coming bands.

- On Friday, 7/27 (at the downtown location), we’ll be playing several unreleased songs off of the upcoming album. We’ll be playing alongside our very good friends, Carl Carrell and the Consequence. If you haven’t seen them yet, you need to… Amazing band.

- Then on Friday, 8/3 (at the Pearl Street location in Boulder), you can actually vote for which songs we will play during our set. And it will be a full house that night as we are joined by The Hits, and Bonnie and the Bang Bang.

So there you have it. Get your Epilogues pint (with beer) for only $10. There is a limited supply of each pint, so if you want to get in on this, please be sure to make it out to the shows. And more importantly, come hang out and have some drinks with us.

Also before I forget… Thank you Denver for our fourth consecutive Westword Music Award! Boosh!!!
